Research and modelling, scoped by a person before any work starts.
Custom market research, market sizing and financial modelling for owners, buyers and advisors. You describe the question, the company and when you need an answer. A MANDA analyst replies within two working days to scope the work with you. Delivery timing, the deliverable and the fee are agreed in a written scope, never promised on this page. Software drafts. An analyst checks every figure before anything leaves.
- Three kinds of work, each agreed in writing first
- Each one answers a question the platform's standing pages do not. Each one starts with a conversation and a written scope, and each one is delivered by a person who has checked it.
- Custom market research
- A written answer to a specific question: who the buyers in a sector have been, how a market is structured, what a competitor's filed accounts show, what has changed since a filing year. Every source is named with its date, on the page where it is used.
- Where a source could not be found, the report says so. Nothing is estimated to fill a gap and presented as a finding.
- Market sizing
- A size for a market or a segment, built bottom up from register rows, published statistics and stated assumptions, with each assumption written out so you can change it and see what moves. A top down cross check where a published figure exists.
- A range, not a point, when the inputs only support a range. The scope says which sources will be used before the work starts, so you know what the size will rest on.
- Financial modelling
- A model of the company in a spreadsheet you keep: historic figures reconciled to the accounts, a forecast built on assumptions agreed with you, scenarios, and a valuation bridge that uses the same methods as the platform's valuation engine.
- Every input cell is labelled with where it came from. An assumption is labelled as an assumption, and a figure from the accounts points at the line it came from.
- A written scope before any of it
- The scope states the question, the sources to be used, what will be delivered, the date it will be delivered by and the fee. This page promises none of those. The scope does, once you and the analyst have agreed it, and work starts when you accept it.
- From a request to a written scope
- Send the request
- Use the form on this page. Say what the question is, which company or market it concerns, and when you need the answer. It needs no account.
- A person replies
- A MANDA analyst replies within two working days to scope the work with you. Not an automated reply and not a report: a person who has read your request and has questions of their own about it.
- Scope the work together
- A short conversation, by email or on a call, to settle what is being asked, what sources exist for it, what can be delivered and by when. If the honest answer is that the data does not exist, or that the question is better answered elsewhere, the analyst says so and the request is declined rather than stretched.
- A written scope, then the work
- You receive the scope in writing: the deliverable, the sources, the date and the fee. Work starts when you accept it. Software drafts against the scope; the analyst checks each figure and each source before the deliverable is sent to you.
- What the work reads, and what it cannot see
- The platform's own datasets
- Company registers, GLEIF ownership, listed company multiples and country risk, the published anchor for private company multiples, exchange rates and the benchmark rows computed from register filings. Each has a publisher and a date, and a deliverable cites them the same way the platform does. They are listed, one by one, on the financial research page.
- Published sources beyond the platform
- Statistics offices, trade bodies, filed accounts and annual reports, where the question needs them. Each is cited with its date. A source that cannot be cited is not used.
- Your own figures
- For a model, the company's accounts and the management figures you provide. The model reconciles to them and labels anything it assumes on top of them.
- What it cannot see
- Private transaction terms nobody has published, current year trading that has not been filed, and any figure a source does not give. Where a source is missing the deliverable says so. It is never filled with an estimate presented as a fact.
- The software drafts. An analyst scopes, checks and signs off.
- What it stores, records and drafts
- Records your request and shows it to staff with its status: new, scoping, scoped or declined.
- Alerts staff once when a request arrives. It never replies to you and it never sends a deliverable.
- Drafts the analysis against the agreed scope, from the platform's datasets and the sources named in the scope, and keeps the source and date of every figure it uses.
- What only a person does
- A MANDA analyst reads your request, replies within two working days and scopes the work with you.
- The analyst decides whether the question can be answered honestly from the sources that exist, and declines it when it cannot.
- The analyst checks every figure and every source in the draft and signs it off before it is sent. Nothing leaves without that check.
- Send a request, or start with the number.
- If the question is about your own company's value, the free benchmark answers it and needs no account. For anything the standing pages do not answer, send a request below and an analyst will scope it with you.
- Describe the question, the company and the timing
- A MANDA analyst replies within two working days to scope the work with you. The reply comes from a person, by email, and it is the start of the scoping conversation, not a report.
- No fee is quoted on this page. It is stated in the written scope, after the conversation.

- The one success fee we intend to charge applies only when a deal closes. Provisional. No engagement letter has been drafted yet, so this is how we intend to charge rather than terms you can hold us to.
- The instant benchmark gives you an indicative value range in under 60 seconds, measured against completed sales of medium sized European businesses. The full valuation takes about 5 minutes, uses your own financials and shows up to four methods. Both are free. Both are indicative estimates, not a formal appraisal.
