Know a buyer can transact before you share anything.
A buyer qualifies the fund or company that would sign, not a person. The entity is looked up on its public register, states the equity it can commit to one acquisition, and uploads a fund letter, a bank letter or its filed accounts. A person at MANDA reads the record and records qualified, more information needed or declined, with the date. An owner then sees qualified by MANDA on that date beside a mandate that fits their listing, or nothing at all.
- What a qualification holds
- One record per buying entity, kept on the buyer's mandates page as a checklist. Each item is complete, missing or under review, in the record's own words, and the buyer can see at any moment what still stands between them and a decision.
- A complete mandate
- An active mandate that states at least one sector, one geography and a size range, whether in EBITDA or in revenue. A mandate that states nothing fits everything and tells an owner nothing, so it does not count.
- The buying entity
- The name of the fund or company that would sign, whether it is a fund or a company, the country it is registered in and its registration number. The qualification belongs to that entity. No individual behind it is assessed.
- Identity on a public register
- For an entity registered in the United Kingdom or in Norway, the platform asks the register directly for the number the buyer entered: Companies House or the Brønnøysund Register Centre. The register's answer is recorded as it came: the name it holds under that number, no such number, or that the register could not be reached. Those three are kept apart, because no answer is not the same as no.
- For any other country a person at MANDA checks the register by hand during review and records what it holds, and the buyer's checklist says so rather than showing a tick the software did not earn.
- A stated capacity band
- The equity the entity states it can commit to one acquisition, chosen from a short list of bands. It is stated by the buyer and read by the reviewer against the evidence. An owner never sees the band, only the decision.
- Supporting evidence, encrypted
- A letter from the fund's administrator or general partner, a letter from the entity's bank, the entity's most recent filed accounts, or another document a reviewer should read. Each file is checked by its bytes rather than its name, stored encrypted, opened only by the buyer who uploaded it and by MANDA staff, and deleted with the buyer's account.
- A decision with a date and a note
- Qualified, more information requested or declined, recorded by a named member of staff with the date. When more is asked or the record is declined, the note is required and the buyer reads it as written. The buyer is told in the bell the moment it is recorded.
- Four steps, in the order they happen
- The buyer completes the checklist
- On the mandates page, the buyer names the entity, asks the register for it, states the capacity band and uploads the evidence. Each item turns complete as it is done. The record is held as a draft until the buyer submits it.
- The buyer submits for review
- Submission is offered only once every item is complete, or is the register check that only a person can finish. Once submitted, the details and the documents are held still until a decision is recorded, so the reviewer reads what the buyer sent.
- A person at MANDA reads it
- Staff see the records waiting on a decision, oldest first, and open each one: the same checklist the buyer sees, the mandates, the register answer and the documents. They qualify, ask for more or decline, and the decision, its date and its author go on the record. Nothing is decided by software.
- The owner sees the status beside a fit
- On their listing, an owner sees the active mandates whose stated criteria the listing meets, in the listing's own words, and beside each one either qualified by MANDA on the date or nothing. The count in the heading and the rows beneath it are the same list read through the same rule. There is no score.
- What the software reads, and what it does not
- Two public registers, by number
- Companies House and the Brønnøysund Register Centre answer for one company by its registration number. The software does not guess a number or match on a similar name; the buyer states the number and the register answers for it. Any other register is read by a person.
- What the entity itself provided
- The evidence is the entity's own letter or accounts, uploaded by the buyer. No third party wealth data is read and no credit check is run. Where a document does not support the stated band, the reviewer asks for more; the software does not infer it.
- No individual is profiled
- The record describes a fund or a company. Nothing in it reads, stores or infers the personal wealth of any person, and no such check is made anywhere on the platform. The one exception in the wider market, screening of an individual's assets, is not offered here because it would not be defensible for this audience.
- What an owner is never told
- A record that was declined, is waiting or was asked for more is the buyer's business and stays between the buyer and MANDA staff. It collapses to nothing before it is sent anywhere an owner reads, so no owner facing page can leak it by forgetting to filter. The owner sees the qualified decision and its date, or nothing.
- A change reopens the record
- A decision describes the entity as it was when the record was read. If the buyer changes the entity's name, type, country or number afterwards, the record returns to draft, the change is on record, and the decision no longer shows to anyone until a person has read the new record.
- The software checks the record. A person decides.
- What it stores, records and drafts
- Reads each mandate for a sector, a geography and a size range, and marks the checklist item complete or missing.
- Asks Companies House or the Brønnøysund Register Centre for the entity by number, and records the answer as it came.
- Checks each uploaded file by its bytes, encrypts it, and shows it only to the buyer who uploaded it and to staff.
- Writes every change to the record, and every decision, to an audit trail with the date and who acted.
- Shows an owner qualified by MANDA on the date beside a fitting mandate, or nothing, through one shared rule.
- What only a person does
- The buyer names the entity, states the capacity band and chooses what to upload.
- The owner decides what to share, and with whom. Introductions still go through us.

- FOR BUYERS
- The instant benchmark gives you an indicative value range in under 60 seconds, measured against completed sales of medium sized European businesses. The full valuation takes about 5 minutes, uses your own financials and shows up to four methods. Both are free. Both are indicative estimates, not a formal appraisal.
